MyTriEvents is a small team and the terms and conditions are here to ensure our events remain and continue to run efficiently. Event preparation is advance of the event date, booking for land use, medical cover, insurance, mementos and additional staffing. By entering a MyTriEvent you are agreeing to these terms.

  1. It is the participant’s responsibility to ensure that they are medically fit to participate in any of the MyTriEvents. If you have any medical conditions which may affect participation you should consult your GP and then inform the event organisers of the situation. The MyTriEvents Team has the right to share this information with the medical team and marshals involved.
  2. It is the participant’s responsibility to ensure that they have the correct equipment required for the event and also to ensure that it is in suitable working order. The organisers will not take responsibility for injury caused by faulty personal equipment.
  3. If events are postponed due to bad weather or other unforeseen circumstances. The MyTriEvents Team will attempt to confirm another date as soon as possible. Entries will be transferred or credit towards another MyTriEvent issued.
  4. If the event is cancelled by MyTriEvents then a full refund will be given or a credit note to another event.MyTriEvents has the right to refuse or cancel entry applications, alter the date, distance or route. If the event is cancelled due to circumstances beyond MyTriEvents control a partial refund will be given or credited.
  5. If a competitor withdraws less than 60 days prior to an event the entry fee may not be transferred to another event and no refunds will be given. If prior notice is given it will be at the discretion of the MyTriEvents Team whether a full refund, part refund or credit note be given.  You may be asked to give an additional administration fee of £10.
  6. It is the competitor’s responsibility to read all of the event information in full detail, the organisers will not take responsibility for error as a consequence of competitors not reading pre-race information.
  7. If a competitor should lose their electronic timing chip during the event, they will be charged £35 for a replacement chip and this fee will be taken in the week following the event.
  8. The organisers cannot take responsibility to loss of personal possessions during the event. It is the participant’s responsibility to safeguard personal possessions.
  9. It is the participant’s responsibility to ensure that they enter their details correctly when completing event registration.
  10. By completing the registration process you are confirming that all of the information provided is correct.
  11. Your entry must not be transferred without the organisers consent, you must not allow another person to participate in your name. This can have serious consequences in the event of a medical emergency. You risk being disqualified and will be unable to compete in our events in the future.
  12. Your details and email address will be stored by the MyTriEvents Team and used to provide you with information regarding the event you have entered and other, similar events which we think may be of interest. Your contact details will never be passed to any other persons or organisations.
